Tinubu’s APC terrorizes opposition, plots to destabilize PDP – Dele Momodu

A leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu, on Thursday accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of doing everything possible to destroy the opposition.

Momodu alleged that APC would buy those that could be bought and terrorize those that could not be bought, in a bid to disorganize the opposition.

On the TV channel’s Politics Today, Momodu blamed APC for all the problems facing the PDP.

He accused President Bola Tinubu of stifling the opposition even after he had prospered as an opposition leader before his party ousted the PDP as the ruling party.

“APC will do everything possible to destroy the opposition; buying those who can be bought, terrorizing those who cannot be bought and making sure the party is in disarray, that’s all.

“You see, part of my admiration for the then Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos was the role he played as leader of the opposition.

“Unfortunately, we now have a former opposition leader in government and they don’t want opposition, it’s an irony,” he said.

The main opposition party has not been able to resolve the crisis that affected the party following the consequences of the 2023 presidential primaries, which cost it victory in the general elections.
