All attention was focused on Jurgen Klopp and Mo Salah as Liverpool returned to training.

The Reds’ preparations for this weekend’s clash against Tottenham have been overshadowed by questions over the pair’s relationship. Salah and Klopp were photographed arguing furiously during the 2-2 draw against West Ham at the London Stadium.

While the Liverpool manager insists there is no lasting problem, that has not smoothed things over. Salah claimed there would be “fire” if he spoke after the clash, while there have been suggestions the Egyptian could leave Anfield. But now that Salah has returned to training, some clues could have been left. Take a look at everything mirror football I noticed it in the Reds’ last session.

Salah is back in good books

After looking furious in east London, Salah now seems much happier to be back on Merseyside. Before facing Spurs, Salah looked focused during the Reds’ final session.

That’s understandable given the Egyptian’s brilliant goalscoring record against Spurs. The 31-year-old has scored 11 goals in 19 career games against the north London side.

Only against Manchester United has Salah scored more in his career so far, so after a tumultuous week of discussions over his future, he could be about to face the perfect opponent.

Klopp all smiles

Salah was not the only one left angry at the London Stadium. Klopp also let his frustration show during his disagreement with his star striker.
