TV47 introduces Betty Kyallo as Friday news anchor after Raburu exit

Media personality Betty Kyallo announced on Friday, May 3, that she would be returning to screens following her latest move to TV47.

In a statement on her Instagram page, Kyallo noted that she would be joining the station as a news anchor.

She will be in charge of Friday’s edition with the program called, ‘This Friday with Betty’. The program is expected to be a replica of the program he presented in K24 some years ago.

At the time, he hosted the Friday news bulletin and then transitioned to an entertainment segment featuring entertainers, politicians and other notable personalities.

“After almost four years, I’m back. TV47 now it’s my home. I can’t wait to see you, my lovely audience.

“This is my favorite stage! I missed it. Yaaaay! See you soon. The show is “This Friday with Betty.” Big surprises are coming. Grateful to God,” she said.

The exact date he will join is not yet known.

In particular, Kyallo joins TV47 days after established that Willis Raburu would leave the station after six months.

In addition to heading the digital department, Raburu hosted an entertainment program, Wabebe Experience, on Fridays. The program was a replica of his previous program 10 Over 10 in Citizen television.

Raburu’s departure also came days after the Wabebe Experience program took an abrupt seasonal hiatus.

Cape Media is yet to name Ruburu’s replacement on the digital desk.

“We would like to announce that Wabebe Experience will be taking a break from the season. We sincerely thank our viewers for their continued support and enthusiasm.

“Rest assured, we are working diligently behind the scenes to come back bigger and better than ever! Stay tuned for updates on our return! We love and appreciate you very much,” Raburu stated then.
